SAY YOUR BIG NO TO MINING IN PALAWAN

I was not paid to make this article and published it. My conscience just told me that I have to render a little help from which everyone who sees it may persuade to follow what is right and this is right! If that happens, just imagine how a little help can make a difference.Well, we should be alarmed of what we always see and hear on television about the sudden deaths of mining workers in a landslide incident caused by a continuing rain and flash floods. The worst thing is, these mining operations are found to be illegal yet they were able to penetrate the area. And the local government was not able to identify that the mining project was illegal during its operation and too late to save the lives of the mining workers.

Palawan is known for its vast natural resources, wildlife composed in rarity, inviting spots and perfect views for everyone who wants to experience its amazing beauty, white beaches worth of second and many more visits.

Mining is pernicious to both human and nature. It destroys our mother earth, it poisons wildlife and it can take lives and properties. The tragedies brought by illegal mining should dread us enough to stand up and say "it's over". These are enough reasons why we should shout our BIG NO to Palawan mining. Sign up the online petition at no to mining in Palawan site (please click here) and be heard! Each one of us has the responsibility to take good care and conserve our nature.
